Postpartum Depression Fact Sheet

HSC6575, Women's Health Issues

Dr. Sneed-Murphy

Spring 2021

Fact Sheet

Grade: A, 27/30 (90%)

The goal of this project was to create a fact sheet that expresses all information relevant to the chosen women's health issue, including signs and symptoms, incidence and prevalence, demographics, risk factors, prevention, and relevance to the target audience. My fact sheet focuses on the symptoms and risk factors of postpartum depression, as well as the existence of postpartum depression within various demographics. While targeting college females, I discuss ways that postpartum depression can be prevented at each level of prevention and compare postpartum depression to other similar postpartum health conditions, such as the Baby Blues.
